A customer came in today to sell a chain. He had bought it the same day at a pawn shop. We paid the customer $70 more than he had bought the chain for. Hello?! We paid more than the pawn shop sold it for! Imagine the poor fellow who originally sold it to the pawn shop. Pawn shops like to say they can't quote a price without seeing the item.
